Did you recently sign up for water service, and have been wondering when your first bill will arrive?
Does it seem like a long time since you received your last water bill?
What Utility Rates are used to calculate the water bill?
Savannah water bills are not
sent out every month.
Instead, Savannah water customers usually receive about six(6) regular bi-monthly bills each year.
That means you will receive a water bill approximately every other
Additionally, because there are so many water customers, all bills are not
sent out on the same day.
Each Savannah water customer account is assigned 1 of about 8 "Billing Cycles" which determines when the bill for that account is sent out, and when the bill for that account is due. The "Due Date" is generally about a few weeks after the "Bill Date" usually.
